Hey! My name's Paul. I'm a software engineer with unusual roots. These days, I'm a full stack developer based in Boulder, CO with experience in a variety of languages and technologies. I have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship. I'm capable and self sufficient when it's expected of me and I can thrive in a group setting when it's not.
I come from a background in art, design and construction. Starting with my education at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I studied photography, moving on through my years in the photography industry and then pivoting into high end finish carpentry and fine woodworking. My love for woodworking and design eventually converged, resulting in me starting my own boutique musical instrument company from the ground up. I designed, prototyped and built the products as well as developed the brand and its presence. Building and problem solving is what I love to do and my experience has ingrained in me the value of hard work, perseverance and attention to detail. I carry all of that with me as I grow and develop my skillset as a software engineer in the hopes of building the best products that I can along the way.
